This vineyard-restaurant is part of a group of ‘bodega’ buildings dating from 1955, and were working until 2004.
The property includes two silos used in the storage and production of wine and cava, as well as a large garden and a building used as a restaurant. There is also an underground wine cellar, unique in Aragon for its shape and size that make it ideal for the production of cava.
The privileged location of the property means that it could be reopened as a restaurant or a vineyard or even used as a private residence as the property is now classed as residential use.

In some parts of Zaragoza there was a tradition of producing sparkling wine, called ‘methode champenoise’ so when the EU recognised and protected these wines in 1986, these parts of Zaragoza were included in the region classified as cava.
